Selling on behalf of local customer who has to reduce his classic car collection due to illness.
Orginally from New Zealand, this A40 was imported to the UK in 2015 and then fully restored by the current owner. Its certainly a rare site here in the UK and the Heritage cerftificate confirms that the car has been a Countryman from build and not a converted van.
As previously advised, the Austin has been restored and overal she is still in great shape but as with most cars of the age, there are still a few tweaks needed here and there. The bodywork is very bright, straight and shiny and the interior is also in very good condition. I have driven the car and mechanically the old girl runs very well which plenty of grunt from the lively 1200 engine. Gearbox is again good and my only criticism is the non genuin gear lever knob which taps the screen when changing into 1st or 4th gear because its too long.
