Ferrari Tipo 166 Replica - Fiorano Type 48 Corsa Spyder Kit, based on a 1970, 1300 Triumph Spitfire.
Having the benefit of being built some years ago, it is a well sorted car, in excellent mechanical condition. The car has been regularly serviced while in my ownership. The chassis is in super condition, as is the engine and running gear. There is nothing to do to the car, just simply get in and drive.
The speedometer shows less than 13, 000 miles, which I would take with a pinch of salt as I can’t verify it. What I will say though, is the condition of the car looks like it’s from a car with such mileage
For convenience, I have had a twin 12v Socket installed under the passenger side of the dash, which is ideal for plugging in a Satnav etc..
The car is road tax exempt, and costs very little to insure on a classic car policy. The car is MOT’d until 24/ 08/ 2019, but I will supply the car with a years full MOT if required.
Being a period classic in its own right, the car is welcome at classic car events. This car attracts positive attention wherever it goes, so be prepare to be sociable if you buy this car!
These cars often change hands around the £14 - 15k mark these days, but I have priced this for a quick sale, and I am looking for offers around £10, 995.
