This is a custom '59 Tbird Convertible. What I mean by "custom" is the owner took a solid coupe that had been rear-ened and bought a convertible rear-clip and had a body shop professionally put the car together. Except for the cowl identifying details, this was correctly built and functions like any other factory-built convertible. The Owner has has the presence of mind to retain even the VIN and cowl ID plates that are included with this sale. The owner has never had any problem with DMV or Insurance over this custom build and offers it at a very reasonable price for the work vested to make it this beautiful example it is today.

White exterior over Red interior with white vinyl convertible top.
Car repainted its original white in 2-stage basecoat/ clearcoat with a very high quality shine. This is a solid car from TX with no sign of any rust.
Red interior is new.
Automatic Transmission with tilt-away steering column.
Factory AC (needs recharge currently)
Top, Engine & Trans are all original. 390 V8 Engine roars to life, no unusual sounds/ odors, leaks etc.
Transmission shifts in all detents as it should.
Top is slower with 60yr old bones, but performs as it should.
All brightwork and trim are present with no pitting.
Panel alignment is good.
Wheels do not exhibit any curb scrape. Tires are Coker tires still fairly new.
Owner is a Tbird enthusiast and has a 2nd ('57) Tbird survivor to sell so please inquire.
Health woes precipitate untimely sale of both.
These square bodied Tbirds tend to command north of $30k----------this is priced competitively for timely sale.
No surprises while enjoying top-down driving.
Everything known has been disclosed. I don't expect car to last too long as this price.
