1972 911S, fully restored. £130k has been spent.
Main restoration was in 2009 and then further extensive works including engine and gearbox rebuild in 2014, since which it has done 5, 000 km. Engine dyno at 214bhp, this car has respectable speed. Uprated brakes (for safety, originals also supplied). Rensport performance shifter (gives precise spring-loaded shifts from the 915 'box, and vastly improves the gear change), original included. Interior in very good condition. Period Blaupunkt radio has audio jack added. Period correct replacement seats fitted (pictured, which are more comfortable than the originals) but the original b&w houndstooth pattern ones available if preferred. Also fitted is the smaller diameter steering wheel which gives room for knees under the rim, original also provided. Spotlights recently added, period correct and very bright. Can be easily removed.
Full details available including restoration invoices and pictures. Matching engine numbers. Speedometer now 40, 000km, and documentation in 2002 indicating 31, 000km. Cannot verify before then, but we do know very little mileage since the refurbishment. Spare wheel, jack and tool kit all present. This is the year with the oil flap, the higher capacity/ power 2. 4 engine and the better/ stronger 915 gearbox. Just had annual service.
