Description
1994 Porsche 968 Sport (1 of 306 cars and only a handful in white)
Grand Prix White with contrasting black "sport" cloth
122k Miles with outstanding, continuous service history
The 968 Sport is essentially a 968 Club Sport but "comfort" specified by Porsche GB. It is built as a Club Sport, and noted as a Club Sport on the Certificate of Authenticity
This particular car has led a pampered life, with 10's of thousands of pounds of invoices. Everything that ever needed doing has been done. Including the belts (twice), the clutch, brake discs, all in the last 15k miles. The service history is huge.
The car has been tastefully upgraded to have more of a CS look, with red powder coated 17" Cup wheels, Tequipment Roll cage, and 968 Club Sport Decals. All of which can be removed if need be. There is also a Momo steering wheel, which adds to the experience.
The car has recently been serviced by 968 specialists ePorsche, who have commented on how nice it is. It wears correct N-Rated Bridgestone S-O2 tyres with plenty of life. Everything works as it should, including the notorious clock, and the Air-Con is ice cold.
I looked at 4 other 968's before buying this car, and gave up in the end because they were all a bit too crusty. This car came up in an owners forum, and I decided to go and have a look - expecting the worst. It was the best I'd seen, it's had paintwork (all of them have) but it's remedial rather than accident damage. All the original stickers are where they should be, all the crumple zones are perfect, with no sign of repairs
It comes with both sets of keys, the full owners book pack, including owner's manuals, and a fully stamped service book. It has pages of invoices, and every MOT since the first. The current MOT has no advisories, and expires in May 2020.
The car is in very good condition, you can pick faults in it, but it is 25 years old.
Any questions or inspection welcome.
