Hi all here i have for sale this ford cortina mk2 lotus series 1 barn find that has had the same owner since it was 5 years old (46 years). the car is a totally 100% original lotus cortina retaining its correct lotus parts. It is been sold as a total nut and bolt restoration project with the car needing a lot of work, however it is complete. Body work has gone in all the usual places ie sills, back end including wheel well and battery area, the body as a whole will need a lot of attention. Interior is original, complete and retains some nice features including an original un-cracked dash top, lotus clocks etc. It has a rare webasto sunroof, and is sitting on rostyle wheels where were also a rare factory option. Under the engine bay is complete and original, retaining some nice original parts such as servo, lotus radiator, carbs etc. Have not tried to start the engine so will be sold as a non runner. Logbook and some paper work with car. This is one of the most original untouched lotus cortinas i have ever come across, it is an absolute rarity and almost impossibility to find these days.
