If you are looking for a drivable TR3 with overdrive that isn’t rusty this may be your car. Almost all the metal work on the car has been completed and there is no body filler, the main body tub is finished in an epoxy black primer that was applied over bare metal. The front fenders, hood and trunk were not stripped to bare metal. The only rust I am aware of on the whole car is a small hole in the trunk floor, and some under the battery. The finish body work and final panel fitting still has to be done before paint, but you won’t be doing a bunch of rust repair as would be the case with most TR3’s. We installed new master cylinders, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and brake shoes, as well as a new idler arm and some bushings. The car has new tires on TR6 rims, but we also have stock TR3 rims that can go with the car as well if desired. The big plus is that this is an overdrive car and the gearbox is functioning as it should without any deficiencies - the car is ready for the road. The engine is strong with good oil pressure. All electrics work as they should with new taillamp assemblies, new front and rear signal lamp assemblies, a new license lamp assembly, and a nice pair of vintage Lucas Ranger driving and fog lamps are mounted up front. All the interior is new, carpets, seats, and panel kit, it looks good. Drive the car as is, or do the body and paint and have a completed TR3 at far less than the going rate.
