This must be one of the most original Jaguar MK10’s in the world. The first owner had the car from 1962 through to August 1970 when the recorded mileage was just 24000. The second owner had the car up until 2017 and during his ownership he kept the most amazing hand written maintenance log of everything that was changed and replaced from when he purchased the car right the way through to the last entry when the recorded mileage was 72887. Today the car is showing a recorded mileage of 73852. This is the 46th RHD Jaguar MK10 which was manufactured on 18th December 1961, exported to New Zealand and became the demonstrator for the Archibalds dealership. The car has not been used since 2004 however it has been started regularly and every six months was driven around the block. This really is a unique motorcar and one for the real collector someone that wants to preserve the car rather than restore it to new condition. Mechanically the car is all working but really needs a good recommissioning check through prior to road use. Body condition is remarkable we have been around the car and underneath and have not been able to find any rust or corrosion or accident damage save for a small repair to the rear left wheel arch which appears to have been scrapped at sometime. The paintwork has had some blow ins over the years but to say that the car is now some 58 years old it can be described as remarkable.
