1921 Model TT 6 door Tourer.
From the owner.
I brought this at an auction in Matamata New Zealand in 2017 as per the red body photo. Not being entirely happy with the state of the body, and after some time spent on google seeking some inspiration, I found a picture of a vehicle in USA that looked like a standard Model T Phaeton at first glance, but it had an extra row of seats. I sent this photo and the car to Graeme Pond of Country Classics in Rongotea and said, build me this!
6 months later I picked it up. As you can see during a couple of the build photos, he has done a fantastic job, built by a true craftsman. Since having it back from Graeme, I have fitted a true fire ignition to it, plus a water pump, and it never misses a beat now. I have sourced a new wiring loom for it which I haven’t got round to fitting (but this will be supplied to the new owner) and it will have 4 new tyres by the time of sale also
The body is a deep dark green, that looks black in some light, and the running boards and wheels are black. Plenty of underfloor storage under the 2nd and 3rd row of seats. Personalised plate included and the motor compression is great also
Inspection welcome, and I am hoping it will go for around 67000 NZD.
