This 1948 Riley Roadster RMC is either the first or second produced. It is an original LHD Roadster Model that has been in long term storage for more than three decades. Finished in cream and red interior
the car is one of just 507 examples produced .
It is the car that was featured in the Riley Press Literature and served as pace car for the 1949 Isle of Mann TT when the Duke of Edinburgh was said to have been a passenger. It is of historical importance as will be seen from the Riley Club Magazine article which is attached. Having just returned from the States to the U. K. it is sold Taxes Paid as a fantastic solid project for an enthusiast.
The engine turns and I also have a rebuilt 2. 5 Riley engine. Delivery can be arranged through a good contact.
