1972 Ford Transit MK1 Pickup LHD 2. 5 Diesel
We've just imported this very rare 1972 Mk1 Ford transit that is in excellent condition for one of these.
Registering the pickup over here is a very simple process and we have an agent that does it for you for a fee of around £110 - we will provide you with details at the end of the auction
It starts well and drives really well with all the gears working as they should, the brakes are good and it accelerates well.
The cab on this truck is in excellent condition with no serious rot, Roof is intact, as with the cab floor, cills and both inner wings, wings and engine bay area. There is a small hole on the drivers inner wing but otherwise very solid, some surface rust around the front windscreen and in other areas but nothing major. It has been painted in white in the past and it does look to be the original colour
The seats don't look original but otherwise the interior, steering wheel and dash is original. All the lights, indicators and everything inside works
The twin wheel back in itself is worth some money and that is also all in very good condition.
