Supplied to Glovers of Ripon in September 1956 this is an early 2. 4 MK1 with Overdrive. Finished in Sherwood green with green leather and superb woodwork. The car was later purchased By a Mr Kemper and was in Holland from 1981 until 2015.
Repatriated by the previous owner in 2015, the MK1 was found to be in excellent sound condition after being stored for 3 years in a showroom.
The original UK registration was reinstated, and a painstaking 5 year sympathetic mainly mechanical recommissioning has been undertaken by the previous fastidious engineer owner spending countless hours and over £6000 in parts alone. A Facebook page was even set up detailing the various stages of the restoration.
The interior is a terrific place to be with its lovely patina.

4 Brand new Michelin Radial XAS tyres, On immaculate powder coated wheels.
There is a thick file of all receipts for all the components purchased. All instruments are working correctly including the clock.
All doors lock and close like safe doors.
There is some slight paint crazing to the roof, but this almost adds to the rich patina that the car radiates. All of the chrome and hub caps are in superb order.
The seats are in excellent condition being very supportive and there are no rips or damage anywhere.
The underside of the car is like new and in perfect condition.
The boot area is perfect and has a fuel cut off switch and a complete original tool kit.
The current MOT expires in July 2021.
There is a parts catalogue and original sales brochure. This is a rare genuine and unique MK1 in beautiful condition and starts on the button with excellent oil pressure.
