Description
Brooklands green bodywork with parchment leather interior, green piping, walnut dash, leather headlining. 1988 build date, 1989 model year.
The interior is in fantastic condition, leather seats have no rips or tears, headlining is lovely, walnut dash is very good.
The bodywork looks good from a distance. Up close it can be seen that the car has at some point had a re-spray which would benefit from tidying in places. There are some bubbles coming through in some areas. It does polish up but preferably needs attention. Ideally a re-spray to make it mint.
The engine starts well and the car drives, I think it is due a service, but basically runs and drives.
The odometer shows 91, 000. MOT Feb 2022. HPI Clear.
There is some history with the car including owners manual, leather folder, various paperwork and some bills. Supplied new by Jack Barclay Ltd London.
These are superb cars, fantastic presence. It gets attention from other enthusiasts wherever it goes. This is a particularly attractive colour scheme.
I've noticed that the driver's seat will not adjust, never worried me as it is set in a comfortable position for me. It was also picked up on the MOT that the tyres have some cracking, so this is something that new owner may want to get done. The central locking is a bit temperamental but always gets there in the end.
It had some welding carried out for the MOT, including sills and the rear spring mount. Also had new CV boots and some gearbox fluid return pipes. This in total cost around £2500 including parts and labour. Prior to this is had been off the road for a number of years.
Ideally cash / bank transfer on collection, current regulations should be adhered to. Call for viewing / collection.
£5950 ono.
