1949 riley roadster finished in autumn red.
this has been a ground up restoration project , over the last 6 years, i am a degree qualified mechanical engineer and its what i do in retirement.
shot blast chassis , all new interior sheet metal , floors and boot , inner rear wings, st steel exh, system,
the riley has an ash timber frame of which most has been repalced, and treated,
all body parts in need of replacment are all welded new to corrosion free metal.
engine, new shell bearings to replace white metal
big ends new little ends, purged clean and cyl head ground and new valves and guides fitted.
new electrical loom
all instrements refurbished by Speedograph Richfeild. interior and hood all in best quality materials beige.
The clock reading of 60000 is not really relevant, its only been test driven about 50 miles on private roads
as its not registered here in Portugal , it has a British v5, and for 35 years before this it was stored in a garage on the isle of white.
