1950 Ford F2 Flathead V8 Long Bed Pickup with recent upgraded Tremec T5 manual gearbox. Frame-off restoration completed in 2017 to original factory specification with all new two-tone paintwork and built to a show quality standard. All the bright work and bumpers have been re-chromed, new interior, new period cross-ply tyres, tow bar, hardwood load deck and removable hardwood Hay-Rails.
A California vehicle imported into the UK in 2010 with the only alteration from stock being the conversion of the original dynamo to alternator and the fitting of a new electric wiper system. Rare and desirable rebuilt 255 4. 2 Flathead V8 and brake and suspension systems fully overhauled and restored or replaced and a fully detailed engine bay. In 2021 the truck was taken to our long-term engine and race car builder where the original manual crash gearbox was removed. This was then replaced with a new Tremec 5-speed manual transmission at a cost of £6000, transforming the drive and usability of this classic Pickup.
