A lovely example of a the Plus Ultra series Monaco that has retained its original Scottish registration number.
Between 1999 and 2001 it was subjected to an extensive body off restoration. Blue Diamond Services undertook work to put the car into a reliable and useable order.
The steering, dynamo and charging circuit were overhauled. The interior has been completely retrimmed, the seats in red leather and the exterior roof fabric renewed.
The magneto, the cylinder head and rear axle have been overhauled. All brakes relined, hub seals replaced and the speedo has been rebuilt.
The two front tyres have recently been replaced.
An extensive box file of paperwork accompanies the car including bills, letters, and photographs.
This has proved to be a reliable and very pleasant car to drive, but age has treated the car better than me.
