Selling my low mileage, high spec. 1997 C36 AMG (LHD)
Finished in brilliant silver metallic with black/ anthracite leather interior.
Imported from Japan in 2016, the car has always been stored and driven sparingly. It is currently in professional storage with odometer now showing 90, 400 kilometres.
There's a full service history with shakyens from Japan. I have had it recently serviced by a marque expert (€2200) with coils, plugs, filters and belts done, as well as a small repair to the exhaust manifold. The car is running beautifully and has recently passed its NCT again. It probably needs more regular use and I am not able to give it the time it deserves at the moment as I have a few other cars.
Inside the black leather upholstery shows little signs of wear, carpets and green AMG mats in excellent condition. The dashboard, dials, and switches all in very good condition and working, as is the air-con. The steering wheel has small signs of wear and the original radio/ stereo has a European band expander fitted. A sagging headliner is the only issue, a job I'm awaiting a local expert to do. I will allow for this in the price if not done.
The car presents really well, is rust free and just carries a few small expected scars for its age, slight bumper scratches and a couple of small stone chips on bonnet. There is a paint issue on the roof and drivers front wing that I feel would be best left for the next owner to consider. You would need to see this in person as it is only visible in certain light and I cannot pick it up on camera. I'm happy to discuss with genuine buyers.

There were only 5200 produced of this AMG prepared and tuned car, a version of which won the final two DTM championships in 1994 & 1995. It was also Mercedes' first F1 Car in 1995, known at the time as the F1 Medical Car
I think the asking price is very fair, even allowing for possible paint but I am open to negotiation for a serious buyer who views the car.
For buyers in Ireland there are no extra taxes, car is registered and roadworthy, and currently declared off the road. Equally, UK buyers currently have no extra import costs.
