1965 Ford Falcon Futura 289 2-door 3-speed Auto. Prairie Bronze with Grey insert to side and roof with black bench seats and interior. Fitted with the later 289 V8 Challenger engine with column-change Cruise-O-Matic Transmission. Front Disc Brakes and 15-inch alloy wheels.
The subject of a recent part restoration including all-new paintwork, interior refurbishment, fully rebuilt gearbox and 4 new tyres.
The last of the Falcons before sales of the new Mustang took over and Ford decided to cease production in 1965. Although we have had many of the ever-popular Mustangs over the past 16 years this is our first Falcon. We think it’s a great looking car that presents extremely well, with lots of character and a good alternative to its more youthful brother. At this price level it’s also a great way to get into classic American ownership without paying the Mustang premium.
