Imported from South Africa in September 2020, so is a rust free example! This vehicle will be eligible vehicle tax exemption as it was first registered in South Africa on the 1/ 1/ 1980.
NOVA reference number available and HMRC duties have been paid. Original South Africa registration document is available so makes doing the V55/ 5 application easier.
Ideal as a base for restoration as the vehicle is in very good overall condition. Bodywork is very good, it did have a respray in South Africa prior to export in Bahama Gold along with new head gaskets and engine work.
A lot of documented work has been done by an independent specialist after arriving in the UK but the following still needs to be done to complete it; engine needs tuned, it does run and drive. Slight leak from the factory fitted power steering near the steering box. All the electrics work including the instruments except for the reverse lights and the fitting of a rear fog lamp to be UK legal. This vehicle also has factory fitted air conditioning, all of the components are in place but will need re-wiring/ re-gassing.
The interior does need a full restoration, seat covers, door trims, headlining, carpets etc.
