Description
The Sixth generation of Ford's famous F-series of pickup and medium-size commercial trucks were produced in the US between 1973 to 1979 and in 1977 the model line became the best-selling truck in the United States, a position it has held ever since. The Sixth generation also marked several functional design changes including moving the fuel tank from the cab to under the pickup bed creating storage space under the bench seat and also despite Ford using the same chassis as the Fifth generation to fight corrosion, Ford increased its use of galvanized sheet metal, zinc coated steel, and zinc-rich primer.
Our 1973 Ford F100 Ranger XLT is an extremely low mileage example and it really holds up well against the test of time and the wear and tear of hardworking pickup's and is a real eye catching vehicle when you're driving it. with it being the Ranger XLT model it is the top model of F100 that Ford released in 1973. The truck is in very good condition as a whole for it's age with the leather bench seat and interior not having any rips or tears as well as the Saddle tan paint being in good condition.
