For Sale is my 1989 Austin Metro CityX. Reason for sale is I require the funds to put into my other metro and the space for my new daily driver. The car itself is a 998 A series with a full stage 1 tuning kit that includes a full Maniflow stainless exhuast, K&N airfilter in standard housing and a larger carb needle. This increases power by about 15%. Bodywork wise its very good for its age, rear arches have surface rust but it is only surface but overall the car is 100% solid with no holes or structural integrity compromised. Mileage is genuine at 58, 000 miles, this will go up as its in daily use but wont be much. Cars been serviced regularly and enthusiast owned for the past 5 years. Both myself and the previous owner being Metro Owners Club members.
Bad Bits:
- Offside rear wheel bearing needs doing.
- Passenger door has rusted but not gotten any worse in the 5 years I've know the car.
- Small bits of lacquer peel on the roof.
- Running a bit rich so needs a tune up.
- Hazard and Horn are faulty but I've been told a new stalk will solve this.
