Full, three and a half year, £165, 000, chassis and mechanical, nut and bolt rebuild to original factory specification by leading AC restorer 1500 miles ago with photographic record and invoices plus substantial history file.
Original Leicester City registration number OBC 43, issued October 1955.
AC engine built by Brian Taylor with Robin Woolmer aluminium head, Farndon crank, Carrillo rods, Omega pistons, fast road cam, etc. etc. 9. 5-1 compression ration.
Original Moss gear box with Laycock overdrive.
All major components renewed or rebuilt. Instruments rebuilt and re-calibrated by Patrick Henry.
All the original parts that have been renewed are available for inspection and are sold with the car.
The first owner was Bob Gerrard and subsequent owners include Peter Foden, MD of ERF lorries and Fred Gilchrist, CEO of John Deere tractors.
