History
A motorcycle considered today a collector's item for many enthusiasts, but which in the mid-90s was produced in only 36 units to be destined exclusively for the sixty members of the historic association founded in 1989.
According to what was leaked, the M900 Club Italia was the realization of a desire expressed by Luca di Montezemolo, Mauro Forghieri, Clay Regazzoni and Piero Ferrari, historical members of the Club, who at the time wanted to extend their own with the iconic Ducati two-wheeler. the philosophy of the association, which up to that moment was based only on four wheels.
Made starting from the technical base of the Ducati Monster 900, the M900 Club Italia presents, in addition to the technical solutions typical of the brand, including the well-known L-twin engine, the trellis frame and the desmodromic distribution, an exclusive painting and some parts derived directly from the racing world.
Under its typical lines, in fact, the M900 Club Italia can boast 40 mm Marzocchi forks, Öhlins rear suspension, Brembo braking system with 320 mm fully floating cast iron discs and Pirelli Dragon tires.
From an aesthetic point of view, however, the Monster dedicated to the Club features a red livery enriched with carbon fiber clutch cover and mudguards, a light brown Schedoni leather saddle, a Modenese luxury brand, an icon of automotive leather goods and logo " Club Italia ”placed in the center of the tank.
In short, a true piece of Italian history that seems to have just come out of the gates of Borgo Panigale.
