Description
First registered on 21st September 1965 to the Universal tape printing company in saffron Walden, this stunning Jaguar comes with its original registration number, complete with its buff log book. Following this the car moved to East Anglia for the next 40 years, before then moving to Worcestershire in 2008, where it remained for 13 years
The Jaguar was fully restored in 2019 by Restoracar of Blockley to the tune of nearly £40k which including stripping to a bare shell and sandblasting. It was then repainted in its original golden sand metallic and fully retrimmed inside with tan hide, together with new wool headlining, wool carpets. All the woodwork was also refurbished to an excellent standard
All the the brightwork was rechromed and a full stainless steel exhaust fitted along with new tyres. The engine was inspected and deemed to be in good order, so needing little more than cleaning and detailing, together with new carburettors. A new wiring loom was fitted as well as new brake servo.
The Jaguar is now in superb order and a delight to drive with the benefit of the overdrive gearbox. We would welcome any inspection on this car, or can provide further details / pictures on request.
