This totally original Austin Mini Clubman estate was first registered in July 1982 and is showing just 12, 821 miles on the odometer, which is believed to be original. Its first owner never did long journeys, it was only really used for local journeys to the shops. When the owner sadly passed away, his neighbour, who was the second and last owner, acquired the vehicle in 2020. Since then, it has been treated to recommissioning, totalling a cost of over £3, 000.
It has a 998cc engine which sounds sweet, and pulls away nicely. Bolted next to the engine is a four-speed manual gearbox. This Mini is a joy to drive on the roads, whether you’re the driver or passenger looking at the views and seeing people smile and wave as you drive past.
It has been garaged its whole life and looks beautiful and well-presented all over, especially with its glorious orange paintwork, which you don’t often see on a Mini. There’s also stripe decals along the side and back, which contrast with the half leather chequered seats.
As for the interior, this Mini is fantastic to sit in and everything has been looked after from its previous owners. Being an estate model, it’s practical and rarer than the common saloon body styles. This Mini really is an eye-catching classic.
