This car is the first generation V-Special Neo Green MX5 made in 1991. It still keeps pure original interior and exterior. (including wheels, seats and top). As shown in the photograph, the mileage is 140, 000 km.
However, as far as the mechanicals are concerned, the car has been carefully repaired by previous owners. I drive this car for coming to work everyday but after 30 years has no problems at all. There is no rust, no major dents, no leaks from the top, and the timing belt and main hoses were replaced in 2022 (due to time-related deterioration), so it will last for many years to come.
The MX5 built from 1993 increased the vehicle weight by 40 kg, mainly due to the 1. 8-litre engine. If you want to enjoy the "light weight" driving experience of the MX5, choose this car.
There is also an original Eunos key (and of course a spare key) and an instruction manual (Written in Japanese thought).
I will be returning to Japan at the beginning of March 2023 and would be happy to make a deal before then.
