Description
This car is one of the rarest of all the Porsche 356's. This is a genuine, matching numbers 356SC. It has the Kardex and is in the original colour of Signal Red. It was ordered and delivered new in JHB in 1964.
The SC was the 'run out' model of the 356's and were offered with the 95HP motor from the incoming 912, and disc brakes all round. There were only 31 RHD 356SC's built which makes this car one of the rarest 356's and one of the most collectible.
This car was owned and used by Peter Dorfer of Carrera Motors in JHB for over 40 years. It has rallied all over Southern Africa and has never been offered for sale before. It has been fitted with other seats but the original seats come with the car.
This car has wonderful patina and is rust and accident free.
