Beschreibung
This Gamecock special was restored between 1987 and 1990 by the previous owner. There are photographs of the restoration, including the original advert for the project that the previous owner started with, which was an original 1932 Gamecock body and a “plus ultra chassis” from a 1930 Monaco saloon, the correct type for a 1932 Gamecock. This car achieved a second in class at the 1992 Riley Register Coventry Rally concours. The car has always been maintained in excellent condition. The paintwork is still bright and fresh, all the details are correct for a Gamecock: Original 3 brush dynamo electrics, solenoid dipping headlight, Klaxon horn, BTH magneto ignition, full weather equipment including tonneau cover and sidescreens that were restored 4 years ago along with a new hood cover. A spare new windscreen, toolkit, spinner spanner, period jack and spare bulbs come with the car. In the 30 years since restoration the car has proven to be a very competent and reliable sports tourer.
