This is a Ford Escort MK2 1600 Sport 1979 right-hand drive, manual. It was recently imported from South Africa and is UK Registered and has a period correct number plate and is MOT and tax exempt.
The car is a genuine sport and is running. We have been able to start the engine which runs and sounds smooth, but the clutch release bearing needs replacing. The paintwork is in its original jewel blue color, which is quite rare. The engine bay is in decent condition, but the floors, sills, wheel well, and chassis rails need attention, as they have been patched badly in various places and need to be done properly.
