Beschreibung
This is a wartime jeep (GPW) made by Ford in 1943, and in July this year it will reach the grand old age of 80!
UK registered as historic vehicle with period registration plate, the jeep is road tax and MOT exempt.
Manufactured as part of Fords wartime production run (probably in Dallas Texas) it has many ‘f’ marked parts and components and is completely rust free. Converted to 12v electrics in 2018, the jeep starts, runs and stops as it should. The correct/ original T84 gearbox and Dana transfer case work well in all ratios. All new brakes are fitted, pioneer tools and original refurbished Carter carb. The jeep has new bar-grip tyres on combat rims all round. Period ‘free-wheel hubs’ are fitted on the front axle to assist fuel economy and minimise wear. A fuel-tight American jerry can and jack are included in the sale. The vehicle has as new wiring loom made of braided cable, new 12v headlamps, immobiliser switch and a new battery.
