Due to injury, we're selling our Old English White 1969 MGB Roaster. Gutted, but it underlines how important it is to make hay while the sun shines!
These cars are getting on a bit and I stress that if you're looking for an entirely rust free concours ready example, this isn't the car for you. The car was restored in the 1990s, so has some age on her again now. There is some slight corrosion showing in some areas in the form of bubbling here and there. The sills and underbody however seem to be in very good condition. One to drive and enjoy!
Fitted with overdrive, chrome bumpers and wire wheels, this car turns heads with the roof folded down, burbling along at low revs, nice and comfortable in squishy leather seats. This is a Mk2 GHN4 car, considered the best MGB with its 60s styling before they became Leyland. Reclining leather seats, alternator, negative earth and the 4-synchro gearbox along with the 5 bearing engine. This is the sweet spot.
You may notice the electric cooling fan and K&N air filters in the photos... and that the engine is one of the rare Gold Seal units. New fuel pump and fuel tank recently fitted.
