Due to an injury i can no longer drive or maintain my beloved Spitfire. She has undergone a 2. 5 year restoration including professional engine and gearbox rebuild, new drive shafts, bare metal professional respray, brand new interior including sound deadening, heat shield underlay and carpets. Origonal seats professionally recovered in vinyl. New front end wiring loom, new starter and wiper motors, plugs leads, distributer washer system and belts. New hood and the interior is all colour matched including the dash pad, all of which were professionally recovered. The wheels have been powder coated in mother of pearl grey with new tyres. I have left nice touches of patina to reflect her age including the bright work. The suspension didn't need doing, so I left it alone.
She only comes out in the summer and is dry stored.
There are a few tiny niggles which I was going to look at this spring. One indicator doesn't flash, passenger door needs a new hinge. I'm a member of the TSSC.
