This was recently imported from South Africa, but it is now UK registered with a period correct number plate, the vehicle is tax/ mot exempt.
Here we have a 4dr Escort which has had a 2. 0 pinto 205 block engine conversion.
Engine runs drives and stops and we have tested around yard but the carb needs air/ fuel mixture adjusting.
A New clutch and flywheel have been fitted recently.
New electronic ignition, distributor, coil and plugs
Electric fuel pump.
Electric cooling fan.
5 speed Type 9 gearbox.
Engine bay is tidy and looks clean.
Inner wings, heater bowl, wing rails, chassis rails all good.
Car has been resprayed at some time and looks nice and clean.
Door posts have some blistering to front edge around curtesy light switch hole.
Arches have filler and been rolled.

Drivers door has damage to door lock edge
Underneath is good for a 40 year old car.
Wheel well has been patched and will need some attention.
There has been a repair to where the front valance joins inner wing.
Bonnet pins are fitted.
The boot lock is missing
Interior has been re-upholstered including all door cards and looks nice, interior door grab handles are missing.
headlining is good.
Dashtop has some cracks.
Boot is tidy and a long range fuel tank is present.
Black alloy wheels fitted.
Overall not a bad car but does need some TLC and bits sorting!
