Based on a shortened 1964 (A Prefix) VW chassis with a beautiful VW 1. 8cc air cooled engine with twin carbs.
This early factory Chesil was completed in the early nineties and remained with its first owner until 2021! It was lovingly cared for and took place in various car shows and competitions. It is accompanied by a three-inch-thick file of invoices from new and has just had a brand-new starter motor fitted. It comes with every MoT from new to support just 26, 889 miles from new! That's less than 900 miles a year on average! It is correctly registered as a VW Chesil Speedster and was built prior to SVA or IVA testing. The engine runs like a Swiss watch and it drives beautifully.
