Jaguar E Type Series Two Roadster 1968 G registration. Ravens Gloss black with dark red leather interior with black mohair soft top and matching tonneau cover. This car is a one off build that we created for a customer of ours around five years ago which has had little use since. The car was stripped to a bare shell and a nut and bolt restoration was carried out. Many things were changed to enhance performance and also the look of this E Type, they included the following: Triple Weber carburettor conversion with trumpets and mesh air filters, alloy radiator with electric fan, racing cams, ported head with bigger valves, electronic ignition, larger front callipers, stainless-steel two-inch exhaust and manifold (Classic Fabs). The rear lights were modified to house the reverse lights rather than the standard series two ones in the middle, so the exhaust comes out of the centre like a series one E Type, also the customer requested that the head was painted gold. The wheels are the alloy completion wires that look stunning, it has a Nardi steering wheel. This car is simply superb to look at and to drive. The sound is addictive. The number plate has been enamel painted on the bonnet which looks fantastic. 1000 miles since build. £124, 995 any inspection welcome.
