Model History

The Fiat Dino is a sports car produced between 1966 and 1973. Two body designs were made and manufactured for Fiat: the Spider by Pininfarina and the Coupe by Bertone. The Fiat Dino Spider was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1966 and was first offered with a 2. 0 litre V6 – the same 2. 0 litre was used in the Ferrari Dino 206 GT.

From 1969 the Fiat Dino used a 2. 4 litre V6. Every detail in the Fiat Dino is designed to satisfy the driver’s needs and to meet the absolute standards of controllability essential for sports car driving.

The Fiat Dino Spider boasted a soft, compact yet distinctly line pointed up by the sharply modelled mudguards that help to balance the volumes. The wild and highly sophisticated engine is a work of art in itself: it achieves even greater significance in that is integrated in a vehicle configuration whose superiority has been confirmed in racing.

This Example

This particular car was delivered in Italy in 1967 and remained there until 2013. In 2013 the car was acquired by the current owner who sent the car to a body shop near Turin to restore the bodywork and more. The car was red when they started, but the original blue colour was discovered underneath and the car was taken to bare metal.

The car was serviced but hardly used since. The engine runs well and the gearbox is smooth. A nice and solid usable Dino in a most attractive colour.

The car still has Italian registration, we are happy to help you register it into your country. With the car comes its user manual and some restoration pictures. The car is a joy to drive, the Fiat Dino Spider is a pure Italian Sportscar. This example is particularly attractive with its blue exterior colour: Azzurro Francia with a nero interior.
