Completed in Beige on 26/ 9/ 62 but remaining with Alvis until November 1963 it then went to Mr Linnel of Wallis and Linnel, Kettering. Following two further owners and a spell in midnight Blue the car was purchased by the present owner in 1971. In 2007 the car was professionally uprated with a 3. 9L Rover V8 and matching five speed gearbox, Edelbrok 4-barrel carburettor, strengthened chassis, power rack and pinion and a host of improvements together with a custom dashboard.
With a daughter in Switzerland many continental tours have been undertaken(Note : LHD and speedo in kms).
Proving very reliable and quick the car hits 62mph after 8. 5 seconds and has been driven at 120mph when appropriate.
