Description
This Renault 5 Turbo 1 was part of Scuderia Astigiana Corse and the Draghi Rossi Racing Team. The car competed in the Italian championship and events such as Rallye Città d'Asti, Rallye Città di Torino and the Rallye 333 Minuti. The car is Gr. 4 specification, with a 270 PS engine. This Maxi Turbo was fully restored in 2014 by Gilles Ciamin (the world-leading expert in restoring the Renault 5), and after the restoration it was used at various classic-car events, such as the Concorso d’Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic 2023. The car has FIA HTP and original Italian number plates and paperwork.
