Description
German vehicle
Just 40, 321 km!
20 years in last ownership
First series - one of 873
Planning for the P132 project, from which the Diablo was born, began in 1985. The aim was not only to find a successor to the Countach, but also to build the fastest production car in the world.
So the car had to be at least 320 km/ h fast, even if no buyer could ever drive it. A test vehicle is said to have reached 337 km/ h on the Nardò circuit, and the stated top speed of 325 km/ h was also surpassed in independent tests.
The shape of the car is typical of the work of vehicle designer Gandini. Special features include long, flowing lines with large air intakes in the sides and shortened front wings, which are followed by wide, flat side windows. The Cw value is 0. 31, which is significantly lower than that of the Countach.
Our car, built in 1992, belongs to the first series of which only 873 examples were built.
It is an exceptionally well-maintained Diablo that was delivered new to Germany.
The car has been in the same ownership for the last 20 years. This owner has done an exemplary job of maintaining the car and keeping it in excellent condition.
While prices for good Lamborghini Countach cars are almost in the 7-digit range, the Diablo is still relatively affordable.
A rare and well-preserved example for connoisseurs and collectors.
