Exceptional - 2600 Sprint in strict original condition - probably the only one of its kind in Europe. I am the 3rd owner: sold new in Sweden (it still bears the S sticker) and was imported into France in 2016 when its 1st owner died. Her 2nd owner, a collector like me, carefully maintained her before selling her to me. I have a complete file of invoices certifying its mileage and its 3 owners only. History: Introduced in 1961, the Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint represents a significant evolution of the 2000 models with its 2, 584 cm³ in-line six-cylinder engine developing 145 bhp. This coupé is equipped with 3 twin-barrel carburettors and offers sporty performance with a top speed approaching 200 km/ h. My 2600 Sprint is 100% original and has never been restored. It is particularly well preserved aesthetically and mechanically very sound. It's extremely rare to find an Alfa Sprint in this original condition, which gives it a unique charm. For this reason, I have refused to carry out any painting work. Exterior: The chrome components are in excellent condition, and the chassis is free of corrosion. Interior: The blue leather upholstery, which is entirely original, has a superb patina that adds character to the interior. The dashboard is complete and well preserved, and all the gauges and indicator lights are in perfect working order.
Mechanical: the vehicle is in excellent condition and has been serviced by an Alfa Romeo specialist. The engine starts from both cold and hot and revs up easily. Gears engage without cracking. The car is stable in curves and responds perfectly to requests. Underpinnings : The car's underpinnings are sound and corrosion-free.
