What are the odds of finding a TR2 delivered in Europe? Well, you’ve just found one!
This Triumph TR2 Roadster was ordered new on 7 July 1955 by Mr. Konstantine Tsallis. The identification number TS7176LO left the Coventry factory as the only TR2 to be exported to Greece directly from the factory. It was finished in elegant pearlescent white with a red leather interior. Mr. Tsallis took delivery of the car in October 1955.
The car was well equipped with heating, an adjustable steering column, an overdrive, competition springs and dampers,... It must have been a perfect match as he kept the car in his possession for no less than 30 years.
In 1985, the second owner, Mr. Demitris Vazakas - a renowned Greek WRC rally driver and winner of the Acropolis Rally in 1985 - bought the car and kept it until 2014. Under his ownership, the car was carefully and faithfully restored to authenticity over a 3-year period (1996-1999). The chassis, body, engine,... were restored exactly as they were when leaving the factory, preserving the matching numbers and colours.
In 2014, the car left Greece to return to the United Kingdom. The British owner, Mr. Robinson, sold the car to his Belgian owner in 2017.
TS7176LO is a genuine LHD TR2, delivered in Europe, and comes with a complete history from 1955 to today. Original purchase and registration documents, the owner’s manual, restoration photos, service receipts, the Heritage Trust document,...
The car has remained as it left the factory, retaining its original engine and gearbox and has had only 5 owners since leaving the factory.
We are already convinced that this truly unique Triumph TR2 Roadster is the all-rounder car par excellence. A pure open car with beautiful lines, a strong and powerful 2. 0L engine. The TR2’s reliability, speed and handling make it an ideal car for racing.
The perfect car to experience the Mille Miglia 2026 if you want our opinion. Do you agree?
