The car presents itself as a remarkably well-preserved and largely untouched example. The Alpine V6 Turbo was introduced in the mid-1980s as the more powerful evolution of the Alpine V6 GT. The car combines a lightweight polyester body with a steel chassis and a rear-mounted turbocharged engine. Thanks to its relatively low weight and turbocharged V6, the Alpine is known for its strong performance and distinctive driving character. The design is typically Alpine: low, long and highly aerodynamic, with a notably low drag coefficient for its time. The engine is mounted in the rear and drives the rear wheels, providing a balanced and engaging driving experience that clearly sets it apart from many other GT cars of the same era.
