Description
Built in 2010, this aluminium bodied Jaguar C type recreation was handcrafted by Coventry Classics of New Zealand, a company with many years’ experience in building and maintaining light aircraft alongside its passion and manufacturing capability for aluminium bodied cars.
Originally a commissioned build for the owner of an original factory C-type, he asked Coventry Classics to replicate his C-type but with several upgrades to include a 3. 8 engine and moss 4 speed gearbox with overdrive.
The suspension, steering and running gear is as per the original later C-type with disc brakes.
The quality of the aluminium body and fittings are to a very high standard and the vehicle has covered very few miles since its build and is on the button and ready to be enjoyed.
The car comes complete with its V5 for a Jaguar Sports Historic Vehicle registered 1955.
