This is a remarkably well preserved Laser that I bought for my son last summer from it's 80 year old owner who had owned it since 1988!Unfortunately I'm moving premises soon and won't have anywhere to keep it, so it has to go to a new home.
It's always been garaged and has never been welded, although it's had paintwork as the old boy scratched it regularly getting it in and out of his narrow garage. Every original spotweld is visible under the bonnet, and in the rear hatch area. Doors, bonnet, tailgate are all unmolested and the underside has regularly been undersealed. There are a couple of minor areas that would benefit from a bit of attention in the next couple of years, but nothing significant.
It's an alloy wheel/ sunroof 5 speed model with T&T until August. The interior is excellent, I've used the car regularly, and it always starts and drives well, with very sweet sounding motor, and gets favourable comments wherever I've been in it.
It's done 96000 miles and comes with a lot of history, original dealer pack including spec sheet and service book, Haynes manual, a few spares, and is correctly registered in my name.
Having driven it back from Wellingborough the day I bought it, and from subsequent drives, I would be pretty confident that it could be driven back to pretty much anywhere. Please ring me on the details below if you require any more info, as I'm no expert on Capris and may have missed something.
