Unsure how to describe this but here goes..... Here we have for sale is probably the best original low mileage 2CV in the UK.
My father has now asked me to sell his beloved 2CV hoping somebody will cherish it & get the use it deserves over the coming summer months. The facts are as follows...
My father has been the only registered keeper from new.
The vehicle was purchased new from Citroen agent Seniors(Wakefield) & registered in November 1989.
Probably one of the last few hundred registered in the UK before end of production in July 1990.
Plum & Custard in colour.

Registration document, Manufacturers wallet inc owners manual, service book all present & correct.
Winter grill. Seat covers, Spray kit, Seniors first aid kit, Crank pulley all included.
1x Ignition key, 2x door keys, 2 x boot keys.
Only MOT certificate that can be traced is the first one which expired in November 1993.
I believe the vehicle has been on sorn since 2004.
Vehicle exterior is immaculate.
The interior still smells like new, & the seats have had protective covers from new. I have removed the covers to highlight the interior condition in the pictures.
Due to the vehicle having never been out in the rain & being dry stored under a blanket. There seems to be no evidence of rust anywhere including engine bay, boot & chassis. Handbrake & brakes seemed fine.
I have refrained from firing up the vehicle as I feel it should have a service & maintennance check before doing so. I have inflated the original tyres & they seem like new. Do not seem to have any cracks in the tyre walls.
The registration maybe worth a few bob taking into account the triple numbers which seem to be fetching good money on the DVLA site.
Those who are vigilant amongst us will have noted the Dolly decal peeling away on the rear. I have sourced a replacement & will be affixed in the coming days.
The club window stickers & the production dates affixed by my father when new, can obviously be removed if not to your liking.
Due to no MOT & TAX this vehicle will need towing or taken away by trailer by the buyer.
I am not mechanically minded, so I would prefer any serious prospective buyers to come & inspect the vehicle before committing to buy.
So just to summarise. A one off opportunity to purchase probably the best original low mileage 2CV in the UK. You maybe hard pushed to find a lower mileage example in Europe apart from the Citroen museum.
I feel the price we are asking is more than reasonable, considering fully restored average/ high mileage examples seem to be selling anywhere up to the £10k mark.
