A very rare original steel backed pick-up
Purchased by an enthusiast whilst in New Zealand (Dagenham produced) because of its outstanding and original condition due to private use only. Shipped back to the UK in 1999 serviced and repainted in current colours. Photographs available showing condition prior to repaint.
No rust to body, cab, chassis, or wings and without any evidence of welding, The rear body is in unusually good condition for a steel backed pick-up - no dents or signs of rough/ industrial use with the tailgate closing as when new.
The sides are straight and flat and the floor is the original hardwood planking which is without gouges or splinters.
Fully serviced (with all fluids changed) with new Lincon period style high capacity battery and with nearly new tyres. I am selling as being of mature years and very tall do not now bend as easily as I used to when young!!
This vehicle is in show condition and any inspection is welcome.
