Beschreibung
Mk3 Cortina 2000E Estate in exceptional unrestored condition. This vehicle is still in original factory paint. Two owners from new - 1st owner 29Yrs, Me 10 Yrs.
It has 61, 129 on the clock. I do not have all the MOT's to verify the mileage, but the condition of the vehicle says it all. This car won the mark three owners club best post '74 car at the 2011 national. Paintwork is very good. Interior is superb - the first owner did not have kids and mine have had the pleasure twice in ten years! The original engine is fitted and runs fine, but has not been converted for unleaded. New cam belt in 2011 (very few miles since.) Regular oil changes etc. Fitted with Lumenition electronic ignition. The car is also fitted with sought after deeper dish sports wheels. Has a nice period stereo system.
It was used as a main vehicle between June '75 and June '85 when it was replaced by a Sierra estate. Part ex offer was not good enough so the Cortina was retained and used only occasionally. The car has always been garaged from new and was treated to the full Ziebart protection when new. I aquired the car in 2004 and have used it only very occasionally for dry weather shows (Got caught out at a very wet Cortina day one year though!)
I have the original bill of sale and a few MOT's for the time I have owned the vehicle, not before. I only have a few as it's not been on the road every year, but started and moved regularly. First owner kept no MOT's or tax disks, unfortunately. The car is not currently MOT'd, but I will MOT the car at my expense prior to collection. New owner will be responsible for taxing the car if driven away.
The car is not concourse, but everything is original and unmolested. Nothing is missing and this car could very easily be brought upto concourse condition by the new owner relatively inexpensively.
The car is a June 1975 registered, January 1975 built. Not currently tax exempt, but will be soon.
