I recently repatriated this MK2 Lotus Cortina series 1 (chassis number BA91*******) from Italy where it had sat in a garage for 26 years and never turned a wheel, this is an original RHD, UK car which was first registered in 1967, it was exported to Italy in 1989, I found a couple of English newspapers in the boot dated 1989 so I would assume the car was never touched from the day it arrived!. It was MOT’d today and is NOVA registered.
