1960 Morgan Plus-4, Period “E” FIA Race car.
Green with black trim. A well known car in Morgan circles having been in very long term previous ownership, this attractive highline car was acquired by the current owner, a well known historic racer, in 2014, there are invoices to support considerable expenditure by Dennis Welch Motorsport in respect of an engine rebuild using Mass components, and a completely refurbished back axle. A dyno sheet confirms very healthy power and torque figures. New FIA HTP papers (valid to 2025) were obtained in July 2015, to Period “E” specification, which maximises the car’s eligibility for the very best historic race events, including Goodwood Revival, Le Mans Classic, and Spa 6 hours. Supplied with her original buff log book and MOT to November 2017 the car is ready for immediate road or competition use. RTCC is very experienced in running these cars at race meeting in the UK and Europe and would be delighted support the new owner.
