1968 Triumph TR5 for restoration.
Off the road since 1987 and in a garage where it was undergoing a home restoration.
This really is a very good project, much better than your normal pile of rot!
The chassis is all painted and appears to be in good order, the inner tub has had the welding done, although not to a professional standard.
There is some accident damaged to LH side of boot floor area, this does not appear to have affected the chassis. When I bought the car the body and chassis were seperate, they are only resting on each other.
Engine and gearbox(A type overdrive), diff and suspension all fitted to chassis, but will ALL need checking and possibly replacing as been fitted for years. No idea whether it will run or not, engine number matches chassis.
I have been through the boxes and from what I can see and know all of the major parts are there EXCEPT:
Front wings, there is one original one from car which has had arch flared.
Rear wing lamps and 2500 badges I cannot find, these are available new.
There is a pair of new reproduction rear wings with the car.
